ON Networks Adds Funding And New Investor

AUSTIN, TX -- Digital media firm ON Networks announced that it has received a $12 million series B round of investment from a syndicate of venture capital firms.

ON Networks provides a wide variety of topic-focused programming via numerous delivery platforms: Internet, digital cable, IPTV and various mobile and gaming devices.

Investors were led by Accel Partners, and included previous investors Austin Ventures and AT&T. The company said the funding proceeds will be used to create a new virtual studio platform, fund new shows and develop relationships with other content and distribution platforms.
