Agami Systems Raising $50 Million Funding

SUNNYVALE, CA -- Storage company Agami Systems, Inc. is raising $50 million in new venture capital investment according to a report in PE Week.

Agami provides enterprises IT departments with hardware and software storage solutions using 64-bit processing architectures.  Their products are aimed at geographically diverse companies that want to manage their SAN more cost effectively and easily.

Investors in the round so far are Advanced Equities Financial Corporation, Alta Partners, Apex Venture Partners, Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers and New Enterprise Associates.
