Covergence Clears Fourth Round Of $15 Million

MAYNARD, MA -- IT company Covergence Inc. has raised $15 million in expansion round financing according to a report in PE Week Wire.

Covergence provides enterprises and telecom service providers with high performance VoIP routing technologies based on Session Initiation Protocol (SIP).

Investors in the round were Highland Capital Partners, Globespan Capital Partners and North Bridge Venture Partners.  Funding proceeds use were not disclosed by the company.
