LOS ANGELES, CA -- Online comparison shopping site PriceGrabber.com announced that it has seen a 54% increase in pricing comparison traffic during the first half of Cyber Monday, compared to figures a year earlier.

Owned by Experian, PriceGrabber stated that it appears that consumers are increasingly researching gift options online, especially after the Thanksgiving holiday.

The top selling products were the Nintendo Wii console, the Microsoft Zune media player and the Logitech wireless mouse for notebook computers.

A recent company survey of 1,959 PriceGrabber shoppers indicated that 88% expected to do at least 50% of their holiday shopping online.
