SoftLayer Launches On-Demand IP Manager

DALLAS, TX -- Networking company SoftLayer announced the launch of what it terms the industry's first on-demand, customer-driven IP management system.

The IP Manager allows network administrators to assign, provision and route IP space at will.  It also provisions static IP addresses for single server use or portable IP addresses to be used with clustering, virtualization or grid applications.

SoftLayer Technologies was founded in June, 2005 by a team of IT industry executives wanting to deliver low cost on-demand hosting services aimed at the small to medium enterprise market.
