Kosmix Clears $10 Million Series B Financing

MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA -- Internet company Kosmix Corporation said that it has secured $10 million in series B venture capital funding.

Kosmix is a categorization Internet search engine that searches the Web in a unique manner to create algorithm-generated home pages.

Investors in the round were led by new investor DAG Ventures, and included previous investors Accel Partners and Lightspeed Venture Partners. 

The company said it would use the funding proceeds to add staff, continue product enhancements and increase distribution.
