Cleversafe Clears $5 Million Expansion Financing

CHICAGO, IL -- Storage company Cleversafe Inc. has raised $5 million in third round funding from venture capital and private equity firms, according to PE Hub.

Cleversafe has developed open source software to assist enterprises in improving their network data storage capabilities.  The company has created what it calls the world's first Dispersed Storage Network and deposited it into the open source community.

Investors were led by Harrison Street Capital, and included Presidio Venture Partners, New Enterprise Associates, Alsop-Louie Partners and OCA Ventures.
