Luxury Phosphor Watch Debuts E Ink Display

LONG BEACH, CA -- Art Technology has announced the debut of its luxury line of watches that utilize a new technology for digital readouts.

Called the Phosphor, the watches use E Ink Vizplex electronic paper display for the watch dial.  The benefits of the technology are that it depicts the digital readout from virtually any angle, mirroring ink on paper while providing a digital presentation experience.

The watches also reduce power consumption and provide ultra-high contrast for easy viewing.  The company is selling the watch line directly from its website for $250.
