Third Rock Appoints Three As Partner

BOSTON, MA -- Venture capital firm Third Rock Ventures announced the appointment of three new partners to the firm's roster.

Cary Pfeffer, M.D. was appointed as Partner, while Neil Exter and Craig Muir were appointed as Venture Partners.

The three partners represent the final hires for the firm's efforts to bolster it bio-pharma and medical device investment activities.  Third Rock raised its first fund of $378 million in early 2007.
