Inlet Technologies Pulls In $3 Million Funding

RALEIGH, NC -- Video technology company Inlet Technologies, Inc. has secured at least $3 million in new venture financing, according to a regulatory filing.

Inlet is developing video and multimedia compression technologies that reduce the amount of time it takes to transmit files over the Internet, while retaining what it says is TV quality results.

The company's investors include Core Capital, Technology Venture Partners, Telecommunications Development Fund and Capitol Broadcasting Company.  Funding proceeds purposes were not disclosed.
