iMedix Powers Up With $2 Million To Launch

NEW YORK, NY -- Health search engine company iMedix launched its service and announced that it has raised $2 million in new venture capital financing.

iMedix' technology analyzes user-generated feedback against millions of medical articles, pictures and videos in order to provide better answers for health-related questions and concerns.

The company also has a social-networking feature, where patients can connect with others who suffer from similar conditions and exchange information.

Investors in the round were not disclosed.
