LIVERMORE, CA -- Food and water technology company Purfresh (FKA Novazone) announced that it has received $25 million in series C venture capital financing.

Purfresh has created an ozone-based, FDA approved family of products that kill deadly, food-borne pathogens such as E. coli, while remaining 100 percent organic.

Chilton Investment Company led the round, which included previous investors Foundation Capital, Chrysalix Energy and Grauer Capital.  The company said it would use the proceeds to grow its global distribution capabilities.
