Alloptic Closes $24 Million Expansion Round

LIVERMORE, CA -- Networking company Alloptic Inc. has raised $24 million in another round of venture financing from its existing investors.

Alloptic provides telecom carriers with passive optical networking (PON) access equipment for deployment to both residential and commercial locations.

Investors in the round were Arcapita Ventures and Ritchie Capital.  The company said it would use the proceeds primarily to fund its continued global expansion.
