Buzzwire Tunes In $8 Million Expansion Financing

DENVER, CO -- Mobile technology company Buzzwire announced that it has secured $8 million in series B round venture capital financing.

Buzzwire enables telecom carriers with the ability to provide their customers a solution that makes it easy for users to find, personalize and share streaming audio or video from their mobile phones.

Investors were led by Sequel Venture Partners, and included Matrix Partners and Spark Capital.  The company said it will use the proceeds to begin deployments of its system with U.S. and overseas carriers.
