Verigy Agrees To Acquire Inovys Corp

CUPERTINO, CA -- Semiconductor company Verigy (Nasdaq: VRGY) announced a definitive agreement to acquire Inovys Corporation.

Inovys provides the semiconductor industry with solutions for design debug, failure analysis and yield acceleration for complex semiconductor devices.

The acquisition provides Verigy with a bridge between electronic design automation (EDA) services and full testing services.  Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
