KANSAS CITY, KS - The Kansas Technology Enterprise Corp. launched a new program to support startups in the state of Kansas.

The public/private organization is partially supported by state funds and has started the KTEC Pipeline program, which is designed "to identify talented and entrepreneurial Kansans, match them with best-in-class training, resources and mentors and encourage them to pursue a career as a technology entrepreneur in Kansas."

Nine of the twenty entrepreneurs selected by the program are based in the greater Kansas City area.  The program also recently selected ten successful entrepreneurs as mentors in the program.
