GLASTONBURY, CN -- Open Solutions announced the acquisition of IA Systems, Inc. a banking software company.

IA Systems provides software and services that automate lending operations and help to streamline business processes for the financial industry.

Open Solutions acquired IA as part of a strategic alliance with IA's parent company Securian Financial Group.  The strategic alliance will provide insurance related products and services as well as an integrated suite of technology solutions.
