Intacct Closes $14 Million New Financing Round

SAN JOSE, CA  -- Financial software service provide Intacct Corporation announced that it has closed a new round of venture capital financing, securing $14 million.

Intacct provides on-demand software package to access the SAS Type II certified financial management suite.  The company highlights its positioning in the marketplace as an upgrade in functionality from Quickbooks.

New investors Sigma Partners and Sutter Hill Ventures led the round, which included previous investor Emergence Capital Partners.  The company intends to use the funding to expand its sales and marketing efforts.
