AccountNow Secures $13 Million Third Round Funding

SAN RAMON, CA -- Prepaid debit card provider AccountNow said that it has raised $12.75 million in series C venture capital financing.

AccountNow allows consumers with no or poor credit records to deposit money into their prepaid account and receive a debit MasterCard in order to charge purchases.

Trident Capital led the round, which included investors INVESCO Private Capital, Oak Hill Investment, VSP Capital, Grayhawk Venture Partners and Granite Hill Ventures.  CEO Tim Coltrell also invested.
