VersionOne Announces Close Of Financing Round

ALPHARETTA, GA -- Enterprise software maker VersionOne announced the close of its first institutional round, receiving $6.5 million in new investment.

VersionOne has developed software for enterprise project and lifecycle management solutions in the agile development process.  The company claims its software helps companies simplify the process of delivering software.

OpenView Venture Partners invested in the round.  The company intends to expand its sales and marketing teams as part of its expansion effort.
