Oracle Acquires Bharosa For Undisclosed Sum

REDWOOD CITY, CA  -- Database software giant Oracle Corp. announced an agreement to acquire Bharosa for an undisclosed amount.

Bharosa sells fraud detection software that provides multiple levels of online authentication technology.  The company claims to have over 25 million users in 67 countries for its products.

Oracle said that it intends to allow customers to purchase Bharosa's products either as standalone or included in various Oracle software products.
