Airvana Floats Shares In $58 Million IPO

CHELMSFORD, MA -- Wireless company Airvana, Inc. (Nasdaq: AIRV) floated its initial public offering, selling $58.1 million of shares priced at $7 per share.

Airvana provides network infrastructure products to wireless operators to deliver mobile broadband services to mobile phones, laptops and other mobile devices.

Airvana was backed by Matrix Partners and various networking companies.  Intended proceeds purposes are listed in the company's filings with the SEC.
