ConteXtream Raises First Venture Funding Round

PETACH TIKVAH, ISRAEL -- Israel-based hardware company ConteXtream has raised a series A round of financing, receiving $9.6 million from a syndicate of firms.

ConteXtream provides scalable per-stream grid edge routing, using clustered, high performance computing hardware, enabling full-rate quality, broadband IP services.

Backers included Benhamou Global Ventures, Norwest Venture Partners, Gemini Israel Funds and Sofinnova Ventures.
