Cloud9 Analytics Secures $9 Million Series A

SAN MATEO, CA -- Software maker Cloud9 Analytics Corporation announced the closing of its first round of institutional financing, netting $7 million.

Cloud9 is developing an on-demand sales performance management application for use on the Salesforce.com AppExchange platform.  The benefits touted by the company include pipeline analytics, sales effectiveness measurement and triangulated forecasting analytics.

Investors in the round included InterWest Partners and Leapfron Ventures.  The financing will enable the company to bring its solution to market.
