VaST Systems Closes Series D Round With $12 Million

SUNNYVALE, CA  -- Virtualization company VaST Systems Technologies said that it has received $12 million in a fourth round of venture capital financing.

VaST's software systems allow semiconductor companies to create a software-based virtual system prototype of a system-on-a-chip.  The benefit to users is that it allows them to shorten development time for their designs.

Investors in the round included ZenShin Capital, Allen & Buckeridge, Foundation Capital and Mohr Davidow Ventures.
