Hispanics Driving Online Shopping Growth Says Jupiter

BOSTON, MA -- Hispanics will be the main driver of online shopping growth over the next few years, according to a report by Jupiter Research.

The report "Hispanic Shoppers Online, 2007," forecasts that Hispanic shoppers will spend nearly $13 billion on retail products online, or 11% of online spending.

The report also concluded that Hispanics are more likely to research shopping decisions online, as well as provide feedback, with 34% creating online feedback vs. 28% non-Hispanics.  Finally, Hispanics aged 18 to 34 are twice as likely to use social networking or shopping sites to research products online before buying.
