Tessitura Reaches 200 Arts Organizations Worldwide

DALLAS, TX -- Arts organization software maker Tessitura recently announced that it has provided its software suite to over 200 arts organizations worldwide.

Originally developed by the Metropolitan Opera for its own use in 1989, the suite of software is now in use in theaters, performing arts centers, museums, symphony orchestras, ballet companies, operas and festivals.

The software provides functionality for ticketing, fundraising, marketing, CRM and advanced reporting capabilities.  Tessitura is owned by Impressario, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Metropolitan Opera.
