Quark Will Open Silicon Valley Office

DENVER, CO -- Software maker Quark announced plans to open a Silicon Valley office by the end of the third quarter, 2007.  The center will be home to a team of sales, customer support and product development staff.

Quark makes design and collaboration software, and is the creator of QuarkXPress, which is widely used in the graphic design industry.

"We felt a presence in Silicon Valley was essential to facilitate partnerships, be closer to our clients and supplement our existing development team," said Raymond Schiavone, president and CEO of Quark.
