Braun Launches Nerve Location Pen Device

BETHLEHEM, PA -- Medical device company B. Braun announced the launch of a medical device pen that helps nurses locate the optimum point for administering local anesthesia.

Called the Stimuplex Pen, the device focuses a small current that helps to indicate to the nurse where a particular nerve junction is located, providing greater knowledge about exactly where to inject anesthesia for maximum effect and patient comfort.  The device can be used to locate nerves up to 3cm in depth.
