Calix Networks Secures Expansion Financing

PETALUMA, CA -- Networking company Calix Networks received $57.5 million in expansion round funding, according to regulatory filings.

The company was founded by ex-Cisco VP Carl Russo, and it helps telecommunications services providers deliver their information over low-cost access networks.

Investors in the round included Credit Suisse, Foundation Capital and Telesoft Partners.  Proceeds purposes were not disclosed by the company.
