SyncVoice Gets Series B And Changes Name

COSTA MESA, CA -- SyncVoice said it raised $11.6 million in second round venture capital financing and changed its name to Communicado to describe its wider range of communications products.

Communicado provides solutions for managed converged voice and data communications networks that carry real-time person-to-person business communications.  The company's customers include over 400 small, medium and large enterprises.

Investors in the round included SoftBank Capital, Clearstone Venture Partners and Hummer Winblad Venture Partners.  The company will use the proceeds to expand its sales and marketing and to extend the scope of its service management platform with additional ecosystem partner integrations.
