Kemeta Clears New Venture Capital Funding

PHOENIX, AZ -- Medical device developer Kemeta, LLC has raised a new round of venture financing according to a report in PE Week.  The amount of the funding was not disclosed.

Kemeta is developing a palm-sized breath analyzer for monitoring the body's metabolism with a focus on people who suffer from obesity.  The user simple exhales a single breath into the device and receives immediate feedback on their daily diet and fitness regimen.

Dow Venture Capital invested in the round.  Proceeds purposes from the funding were not disclosed.
