Aztek Networks Nets Second Funding Round

BOULDER, CO -- Telecom switch company Aztek Networks announced the close of its series B round of venture capital funding in the amount of $7.5 million from a syndicate of investors.

Aztek provides Emergency Stand Alone (ESA) products to telecommunications companies.  Their switch products also offer replacement options for green-field access applications as well as the replacement of legacy switches.

Telecommunications Development Fund lead the round, which included Sequel Venture Partners, Grotech Capital Group and Legend Ventures.  The company will continue to roll out its 5000S line of telecom switches.
