Globus Medical Soars With $110 Million Funding

AUDUBON, PA -- Spinal device make Globus Medical, Inc. announced the closing of a $110 million funding, its fifth round of venture capital.

Globus provides both fusion and non-fusion spinal medical device solutions for patients with spinal disorders.  The company claims over $120 million in annual sales.

Investors in the financing were led by Clarus Ventures, and included AIG Capital.  Proceeds from the funding with be used to expand sales and continue the company's development efforts for spinal devices and biomaterials.
