Humana Launches Effort To Reach Consumers Via Games

LOUISVILLE, KY -- Health benefits company Humana (NYSE: HUM) announced its intention to communicate to consumers about health issues through video games.

Called the Games for Health initiative, the company is partnering with Serious Games company Digitalmill, Inc., Humana is evaluating the ability to use video games to enable consumers to be more closely connected with the management of their health.

Also, the company said it is working with Touchtown, Inc. to develop a new service delivery platform for wellness and fitness programs are provided to senior facilities.
