Seno Launches Imagio Research Device

SAN ANTONIO, TX -- Medical device maker Seno Medical Instruments, Inc. announced the introduction of a medical platform technology using opto-acoustics for small animal functional imaging.

Called the Imagio, the device produces real-time color images which distinguish between benign and malignant growths for all solid tumors.

Seno was launched in 2005 and is focused on developing diagnostic technologies for cancer through its opto-acoustic patent portfolio.  The company recently received a $2 million investment from the State of Texas' Emerging Technology Fund.
