Xerox Parc Starts Entrepreneur Partner Program

PALO ALTO, CA -- Famed research center Xerox PARC has announced the start of a program designed to improve its connections with technology entrepreneurs.

Named Startup@PARC, the program intends to create customized partnerships for each new venture participating in the program.  The group will provide technical expertise, intellectual property, facilities resources and laboratory space. 

In exchange, the PARC will receive cash, royalties, or equity compensation, or a combination of these elements.  A recent success of PARC's was SolFocus, an award-winning solar energy technology company.
