Cryptek Secures Venture Debt Round Of $5 Million

STERLING, VA -- Software company Cryptek said that it has closed a venture debt facility in the amount of $5 million.

Cryptek provides government agencies and large enterprises with applications to guard against internal security threats from within the company's network infrastructure and remote locations.

Wachovia Bank provided the facility, which will be used for growth working capital and general corporate purposes.  Earlier in 2007 Cryptek closed an equity round of funding totaling $7 million.
