Pearl Therapeutics Finds Series A Financing

REDWOOD CITY, CA -- Biopharmaceutical company Pearl Therapeutics, Inc. has announced that it raised $15.5 million in first round venture capital financing.

Pearl is developing a pipeline of chronic respiratory disorder therapeutics.  The company has in-licensed advanced particle technology from Nektar Therapeutics for developing a series of products.

Investors in the round were led by New Leaf Venture Partners and Clarus Ventures, and also included 5AM Ventures.  Proceeds will be used for continued candidate and pipeline development.
