Mercent Secures Second Venture Capital Funding

SEATTLE, WA -- Advertising network company Mercent announced that it has closed its series B round of venture capital financing, receiving $6.5 million.

Founded by ex-Amazon.com executives, Mercent has developed Mercent Retail, an online platform that enables retail merchants to manage online marketing performance across multiple channels.

TVC Capital led the round, which included the Madrona Venture Group and the Hillman Company.

Mercent said that it will use the funding proceeds to expand its advertising distribution and accelerate its sales and marketing efforts.
