Anagran Accepts $12 Million For Expansion

REDWOOD CITY, CA -- Networking company Anagran, Inc. said that it has closed its series C round of venture capital funding from its existing stable of investors.

Anagran was founded by one of the inventors of the Internet, Dr. Lawrence Roberts, and is developing a new type of router that they believe operates faster than existing technologies.

Investors in the round were Advanced Technology Ventures, Arrowpath Venture Partners and Draper Fisher Jurvetson. 

The company said it would use the funding to expand its sales and marketing efforts in North America and the EMEA region.
