Strata8 Networks Takes In $8 Million For Launch

BELLEVUE, WA -- Wireless company Strata8 Networks, Inc. announced that it has secured $8 million in new venture capital funding.

Strata8 offers cellular services to enterprises in 16 initial markets in the continental United States.  The company has designed a state-of-the-art wireless network to simplify and reduce enterprise wireless communication costs by routing much of each company's wireless calls through their own network.

Globespan Capital Partners, Lightspeed Venture Partners and Wirefree Partners, LLC invested in the round.

Concurrently with the announcement, the company launched its Enterprise Cellular service.
