DataCore Launches VM Starter SAN Package

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL -- Storage networking company DataCore announced the launch and commercial availability of its starter package of storage area network system.

Called SANmelody, the system is priced at around $4,000 per server, and comes bundled with auto-allocating thin provisioning storage support, SANmotion data migration technology, caching software, snapshots for fast disk backups, auto failover/failback data protection and remote site disaster recovery suport.

The system is compatible with Windows, UNIX, Linux, VMware, MacOS and NetWare systems.
