Palringo Pulls In First Venture Capital Financing

REDWOOD CITY, CA -- Mobile company Palringo announced that it has received a series A round of funding, but did not disclose the amount.

Palringo provides a service that combines walkie-talkie style voice communication with real-time text chat and the ability to share pictures within the context of a discussion.  The service is compatible for both one-on-one and group conversations.

ePlanet Ventures made the investment, which the company says will be used to support the launch and roll-out of its new service.
