Naseeb Networks Raises Growth Round Funding

SAN JOSE, CA -- Online company Naseeb Networks said that it has obtained an undisclosed amount of funding from venture capital investors.

Naseeb is building a Pakistani-focused social networking and news website.  The goal of the site is to connect young, educated, professional Muslims in an environment that they trust.

ePlanet Ventures led the round, which included Draper Fisher Jurvetson.  The company said it plans to use the funds to expand its sales force, increase its marketing efforts and enhance its product portfolio.
