HiWired Secures $9 Million Expansion Funding

NEEDHAM, MA -- IT company HiWired said that it has closed its second round of financing, receiving $9 million from venture capital investors.

HiWired partners with electronics manufacturers, retailers and Internet providers to offer remote technology management services to the consumer and small business markets.

North Hill Ventures led the round, which included previous investors Kodiak Venture Partners and Sigma Partners.  The company said it would use the funding proceeds to expand its sales and marketing efforts and continue service development.
