UBmatrix Nabs Series B Funding Of $8 Million

KIRKLAND, WA -- Software company UBmatrix, Inc. has received $8 million in second round institutional venture funding, according to a report in PE Week.

UBmatrix provides users with an XBRL-based platform that allows them to design, develop and deploy applications that collect, aggregate, report or exchange information.

Draper Fisher Jurvetson and The Meteor Group invested in the round, which is still open for additional funding.  The company did not disclosed the expected use of the funding proceeds.
