5min Pulls In $5 Million Early Stage Funding

OR YEHUDA, ISRAEL -- Online company 5min Ltd. has raised $5 million in an early stage financing round, according to a company statement.

5min aims to be a "Videopedia" where users can upload and view short video solutions for practical questions.  The concept is to limit each "how-to" video to no more than 5 minutes in such subjects as arts, business, fashion, sports, tech, food and others.

Spark Capital invested in the round.  The company did not disclose how the funding proceeds would be used.
