ChaCha Launches Mobile Live Search

INDIANAPOLIS, IN -- Mobile search company ChaCha announced the launch of its live person search service for mobile phone text applications.

The service, currently being offered as a free trial, allows mobile phone users to to text questions of any kind to "242242 (ChaCha on the phone keypad)" and receive a text answer created by a live person.

One of the benefits of the service is that it allows users who don't have a smartphone to get the power of quick Web searches, according to Rob Enderle, Principal Analyst for the Enderle Group.
