Pudding Media Scoops In $8 Million Series A

SAN JOSE, CA -- Voice technology company Pudding Media has closed its series A round of financing receiving $8 million from venture capital investors.

Pudding Media enables telecommunications providers to target advertisements based on users telephone call content.  The system allows providers to generate a new revenue stream from these advertisements.

Opus Capital and BRM Capital invested in the financing.  The company said it will use the proceeds to expand its product suite of advertising solutions to cover all forms of voice services - mobile carriers, VoIP operators and Web voice applications.
